September stamp-tax return — due 26 October
The stamp-tax return is due on the 26th of the following month. September papers are due Monday 26 October 2026; there is no 31 October line. Contracts are read one by one on the file.

Deadline
Stamp tax shares the MPHB statutory day: the 26th of the following month. For September 2026 papers that is Monday 26 October. August stamp moved to 28 September because 26 September was a Saturday. 31 October is not on this calendar.
Which instrument
Leases, guarantees, protocols and certain fee contracts are rated against the schedule in Law 488. If an exemption line exists it is written on the working paper.
